The audio doesnt follow the plan correctly when it switches from different non consecutive chapters. I have to restart app. :(

Works great on my iPhone 6s+; much better than on a Windows phone.

But functionality is lacking. I love the ESV translation, but now that we have a great translation Crossways seems more interested in adding glitz than truly improving the functionality that would allow us to really dig into the word. The previous versions of this app were much more functional and easier to navigate.

The old app is vastly superior. Even after following directions, this new app will not allow me to access the content I paid for in the old app, which was expensive for a phone app. PLEASE do NOT discontinue the old app!

This app is great except the ability to highlight multiple verses, it does not work on my iPad, once fixed 5 star for sure.

The audio is too fast due to the fact that each verse has been cut into little "bites" for the purposes of this app. This makes the audio too fast in unnatural sounding, which is distracting for me. Otherwise, its a decent app.

I simply wanted an app that would deliver to me Daily Lectionary Bible readings and Chronological Bible readings in th ESV translation. This app not only does that, it allows me to keep track of the readings, and if I want to, I can LISTEN to the readings. Then, I can attach notes to the reading and highlight passages. And there is no charge for this EXCELLENT app. Of course I like the ESV, but the additional services and tools Crossway provides . . . I am amazed.

I had a ESV study bible that I used for several years. I paid for it, took notes for study, etc. The updated app allows me to see notes, but not study bible. It stinks!!!!! Crossways did not improve, but deprived a paid user of a great tool.

Please provide an update. The app has been clunky and unable to access the paid study Bible. I tried to delete and download again, but am now unable to sign in and am without my highlights and notes. Thanks.

Cannot get the iPad to read out the text on screen for visual impaired support(which can be adjusted to faster than normal audio file) It will be a great app if it supports this, esp. in reading mode.

I use this Bible app the most, love the audio and notes. Its so simplistic. I wish it could sync bookmarks with other devices. Also, it would really be nice to have a verse picker sometimes instead of scrolling through a long chapter. Arrows for moving to the next/previous chapter would be great too.

I have used this app for a few years now and it has become difficult to dislike. It works, its stable, and it doesnt lag.

This is a great app in general, but on iPad it’s really missing out on the very common Split Screen feature released in iOS 9. This one feature addition would allow users like me to be taking notes in other apps while reading Scripture.

I have used several different Bible apps and this one offers the most flexibility with the easiest navigation. Very easy to switch between references quickly during a sermon, and I love the choice of daily bible reading plans, and audio book feature. Thank you!

I like the text tracking with the audio. Also love the reader mode that takes all the verse numbers out of the text.

Ive used this app for several months and really find it helpful in my walk with Christ. There are several devotionals available on the app. You do need to go through the settings to adjust to your needs. It was only today after finally running through the settings options that I found out how to add the verse numbers to the screen.

This is a well-designed app that generally works well, but for the life of me I cant figure out why it hasnt been made to work in iPad split-screen multi-tasking. I use this app at home and in church, and for now I have to constantly swipe between this and my note-taking app of choice (Notability). Please please please make this app work with split-screen multitasking!

It crashes literally with everything you do. I cant use the app. Thankfully its not my main app but it really is flat out unusable. It crashes when I scroll, view notes, view the Study Bible portions.

This is one of the best apps I have. I love the listening feature for in the car. It is so great to be able to search and save verses. I love everything about it, so easy to use and suits my needs perfectly.
